Dutch reedplayer Robert Veen got the original band book of Jimmy Lunceford at the Smithsonian in Washington . He brought it to Holland and played and recorded the original arrangements with a special selected 15-piece big band. Some repetoire was never recorded before.
Band also includes: Menno Daams (trp), Chris Hopkins (piano), Brooks Tegler (Drms) .
